We are looking for docents for the Half Moon tours, staff for the three-day celebration, help with the Quadathlon event, go-fers, schleppers, distributors of literature, ruff-makers, etc. Please join the crew!
DOCENTS NEEDED FOR HALF MOON TOURS
We are looking for volunteers to serve as docents on board the Half Moon during her visit to Hudson, NY, on Thursday, July 23, through Monday, July 27.
A docent training session will be held on Thursday, July 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The training will take place onboard the Half Moon, which will be docked at the City dock in Henry Hudson Riverfront Park. To reach the park, cross over the railroad bridge at the intersection of Allen Street and Front Street, near the Amtrak Station. You will experience the tour, be supplied with a docent manual, and receive two hours of training.
Those attending the training should plan to help with tours on at least one or more of the following days:
Saturday, July 25 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, July 26 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Monday, July 27 –11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
