DIRECTIONS TO HUDSON, NY

From NYC and Points South

Take the Taconic State Parkway north and exit at Rte. 82 Ancram/Hudson. Take Rte. 82 north/west to Rte. 9 (2nd traffic light). Follow Rte. 9 North into the City of Hudson. At a three-way stop, turn left onto Warren Street. At the foot of Warren Street, take a left onto Front Street. At Allen Street, turn right and cross the bridge over the railroad tracks. Turn left to Waterfront Park.

Take the New York State Thruway to Exit 21. Take Rte. 23 across the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. Turn left on Rte. 9G. Follow 9G for 3 miles into the City of Hudson. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Allen Street. Continue on Allen to Front Street and cross the bridge over the railroad tracks. Turn left to reach Waterfront Park.

From Albany and Points North

Take Interstate 90 east toward Boston. Exit on Rte. 9 South toward Kinderhook and Hudson. Follow Rte. 9 into the City of Hudson and turn right at Green Street (Stewart Shops at right). Follow Green Street until it merges with Columbia Street (just beyond Hess station) and curves to the right. Turn left on Seventh Street. Turn right onto Warren Street and follow it to Front Street. Turn left on Front Street and continue south to Allen Street. At Allen Street, turn right and cross the bridge over the railroad tracks. Turn left to Waterfront Park.

Take the New York State Thruway to Exit 21. Follow Rte. 23 across the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. Turn left on Rte. 9G and continue 3 miles into the City of Hudson. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Allen Street and continue to Front Street. On the other side of Front Street, cross the bridge over the railroad tracks and turn left to reach Waterfront Park.

From Massachusetts and Points East

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) into New York to the exit for Rte. 9 South toward Kinderhook and Hudson. Follow Rte. 9 into the City of Hudson and turn right at Green Street (Stewart Shops at right). Follow Green Street until it merges with Columbia Street (just beyond Hess station) and curves to the right. Turn left on Seventh Street. Turn right onto Warren Street and follow it to Front Street. Turn left on Front Street and continue south to Allen Street. At Allen Street, turn right and cross the bridge over the railroad tracks. Turn left to Waterfront Park.

By Train

Amtrak Hudson Station is within easy walking distance and just on the other side of the tracks from the Hudson waterfront. When you leave the station, turn left and walk one-half block up Front Street to the railroad bridge. Cross over on the pedestrian walkway at the far side of the vehicular bridge and turn left to reach the waterfront park.
